1.肉苁蓉具有调节神经内分泌系统及补肾固阳的作用

肾阳虚者一般情况下神经性内分泌系统都会出现功能紊乱的情况，那双溶剂有内雄激素样作用，又可以通过抑制下丘脑单氨氧化酶的活性，使得神经中枢系统内单胺类神经递质的释放增加，增强性腺功能，具有补肾壮言的效果。

2.肉苁蓉具有润肠通便的作用

肉苁蓉具有促进小肠蠕动，抑制大肠水分吸收和缩短排便时间的效果，因此具有通便的效果，尤其适合那些老年体虚便秘，或者是产后便秘，手术便秘，习惯性便秘等人群使用。

3.抗氧化作用

肉苁蓉中的苯乙醇苷以及多长成分是目前一致认为抗氧化活性成分最好的物质它可以显著的提高心脏，肝脏，脑组织中晒谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶以及sod活性，提高肾组织中的sod活性，并且降低各组织LPO级脂褐质的含量。

肉苁蓉的具体做法

1.鸡肉炖苁蓉

需要童子鸡，肉苁蓉，黄酒，食盐各适量，具体的做法就是将鸡肉洗干净切块，肉苁蓉洗干净，滤干，然后放入纱布袋当中扎紧口袋，与鸡肉，共同放入砂锅中，加入料酒和适量清水先用大火煮沸，再用小火慢炖，直到鸡肉煮烂为止，最后加入适当的食盐调味即可食用。

2.泡酒

将适量的肉苁蓉用清水清洗干净，然后晒干药材表面的水分，再取适量的白酒这里最好是使用50度的纯酿白酒泡制，浸泡的时间大概是半个月左右即可，每天服用十到30毫升最佳。
